Master the art of timing
DEQX processors correct the distortion that all speakers make and offer room compensation as an added extra. While righting frequency-response errors as other units do, they also uniquely fix critical timing errors by adjusting thousands of frequency groups so that they arrive on time. Other room correction devices simply adjust amplitude response (uneven output at different frequencies) to offset room modes. But they can’t address the fine details of phase coherence; the group-delay timing issues that manifest in all real-world speakers.The results are startling; two-channel and surround systems open up in a dramatic way when timing, phase and amplitude accuracy are restored to the speakers, with judicious room compensation added.

MMX is a new type of ribbon, exclusive to RAVEN, that has about 6 times the strength of pure aluminum ribbons. MMX has a much stronger centering force to reduce distortion, increase power handling and improve durability.
The Raven Line Source has a 250 Hz resonance frequency thanks to a very large rear air chamber that is 3 inch deep by 2.5 inch wide.
The rear chamber is lined with 12 mm thick real wool felt and filled with 50 mm thick Black Hole Stuff to completely absorb the rear wave without reflections. The water fall decay and impulse response are excellent!
The transformer is internal with shortest possible leads to minimize inductance and resistive loss. The transformer core is the best available for low loss, low leakage and low distortion. The face is 0.375 inch thick aircraft aluminum.
All parts are assembled with thick rubber gaskets to damp vibration - it is about as dead as a solid block of granite.
The neodymium magnet tips are shaped to focus a symmetrical shaped and maximum strength magnetic field on the ribbon to minimize distortion. The magnet tip is saturated at 1.2 Tesla to minimize distortion.
It has good magnetic shielding and can be within 12 inch of a CRT television

The IsoAcoustics ISO-L8R155 Speaker Stand Line-Up
IsoAcoustics offers three sizes of audio stand to fit your speakers. Each size is optimized to get the most from your particular speaker system.
Stands can be configured to 3" or 8" in height, with inserts that provide a variety of tilt-up and tilt-down adjustments. In the lowest configuration, the monitor can be tilted down to focus the tweeter to a height below the original supporting surface - providing superior isolation and sound improvement.
